Traveling between photogenic locations in a comfortable vehicle, you'll have the freedom to focus on your craft while our expert guide takes care of the logistics.

As the expedition unfolds, you'll have the opportunity to participate in structured photography sessions led by our talented instructor, honing your skills and mastering the art of capturing Mongolia's diverse landscapes. Whether you're framing the dramatic landscapes of the Gobi Desert, the serene beauty of the Khuvsgul Lake, or the nomadic culture of Mongolia's heartland, you'll have ample opportunities to unleash your creativity and tell your own visual story.

The grand finale of this adventure awaits in Tsagaan Nuur, where you'll spend three captivating days immersing yourself in the local Naadam Festival. This remote celebration is a true gem, full of surprises and cultural richness. While we provide a fully guided experience with a skilled cook staff, your nights will be spent in cozy tents, allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the Mongolian wilderness. Join us on this photographic odyssey, where structured learning and free-spirited exploration unite to capture the soul of Mongolia through the lens of your camera.

This trip is fully guided and supported, we will stay in both tents and with families along the way. All meals, transport and camping gear will be supplied. Airfare, alcohol and tips for guides are not included.

About the Instructor

Peter Bittner is an award-winning multimedia journalist and former correspondent in Mongolia. Peter's work has been featured in The New York Times, CNN, Bloomberg, and other major outlets. A Fulbright Scholar and UC Berkeley lecturer in new media, he's passionate about learning, utilizing, and teaching the latest tech tools for powerful storytelling.
